Video Premier – “Light Outside”

We are completely thrilled to be sharing our first music video with you from our upcoming record. “Light Outside” debuts today on Metal Injection. What makes it extraordinarily fun and real for us is that we have a very large hand in the making of our videos. You Inflatable Games could say it’s a huge part of what Beak is. Chris is a photographer, and he works very closely with the ideas in Jon’s lyrics and he finds a visual expression that is true to that subject. I suppose that is a pretty unique opportunity for us. You can look into our heads and see what we see.
The visuals needed to be iconic as possible, so inspired by “The Tree Of Life” and the Brothers Quay, we set out to pair lyrical and abstract visuals with very heavy, jolting and contrasting images. It’s an exploration of beginnings. Enjoy and thank you for taking part.
